The Education We Choose

T.E.W.C is a non-profit orginaztion founded by Necessity Young in 2020. T.E.W.C is for kids of all ages. It gives them a chance to learn more than the things they learn in school. We want them to have helpful, and valuable skills for the future. Which is when T.E.W.C was created.

Our goal

T.E.W.C has 3 purposes that we value. Which is mental well-being,basic first aid, and knowledge of our rights. Recent studies show that many americans don't know their rights. Which is what we want to change. We want future generations, especially people of color to know their rights. Along with the knowledge of basic first aid, and the ability to notice extreme mental disorders at an early stage.

Recent Project

Giving Thanks

A weekly project, where we take voluteers to give food to the homeless.This also involves our cooking course, where we teach the youth how to make healthy meals.

An organization that aims to help educate people of their rights, in many diffrent ways.This activity occurs tuesdays, and wednesdays. Come join us!

Juniors in Action!

Now, dont be fooled by the name! Juniors in action is for 8th to 12th grade. This program is where kids from all around oakland come to develop basic medical skills!

H.F.A

H.F.A also known as "Hope for All" is our program for a more mature audience. This program in during the summer, where teens learn of mental diseases, and how to avoid them/notice them. For this program we take incoming 9th graders to 12th graders.
